3-Ingredient Baked Pecan Cheesecake

Next, I place the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and beat it until it becomes completely smooth and creamy.

Then I add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until they are fully incorporated into the cream cheese.

In a separate bowl, I combine the caramel sauce with the chopped pecans. I stir gently until the pecans are evenly coated in the caramel.

Next, I add the caramel-pecan mixture to the cheesecake batter and gently mix until everything is evenly distributed.

I pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a rubber spatula.

I place the cheesecake in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until the edges are set while the center still has a slight jiggle.

After baking, I remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature. I allow it to cool before transferring it to the refrigerator.

Once cooled, I refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 2 to 4 hours. For the best texture, I like to let it chill overnight.

When I’m ready to serve it, I slice the cheesecake while chilled and enjoy the creamy filling with sweet caramel and crunchy pecans.

Pro Tips for Best Results

I always recommend using softened cream cheese so the cheesecake batter becomes smooth and lump-free.

Use a thick caramel sauce so the mixture doesn’t become too watery.

For the best flavor, use fresh pecans and chop them into small, even pieces.

Don’t overbake the cheesecake. A slightly jiggly center will firm up as the cheesecake cools and chills.

Allow the cheesecake to chill thoroughly before slicing. This helps the filling set and makes the slices much cleaner.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

One common mistake is using cold cream cheese. It can leave lumps in the cheesecake batter and make it difficult to mix smoothly. Avoid using an overly thin caramel sauce, as excess liquid can affect the final texture. (See the next page below to continue…)
