– 1 ½ teaspoons salt
– ¼ teaspoon instant yeast

Equipment Needed

– A Dutch oven or heavy oven-safe pot with a lid
– Parchment paper
Step-by-Step Instructions
To begin my no-knead bread adventure, I mix the flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large mixing bowl. As the ingredients come together, I pour in the warm water, being sure to stir until all the flour is incorporated. The dough will be quite sticky and shaggy, which is exactly what we want. I usually cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours. This long fermentation creates wonderful flavor and texture in the bread.
