Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced (any color you like!)
- 1 cup spinach, chopped (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Equipment Needed
- Large skillet
- Wooden spoon or spatula
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Measuring cups and spoons
Step-by-Step Instructions
First, in my large skillet, I drizzle a bit of olive oil and heat it over medium-high heat. Once it’s hot, I add the diced onion and cook until it’s translucent—about 3-4 minutes. It’s at this moment that the smell of sautéing onion fills the kitchen, and it feels like home. Next, I toss in the minced garlic and bell pepper, stirring for another couple of minutes until they’re softened. This warming blend makes me feel like I’m setting the stage for something truly delicious! (See the next page below to continue steps…)
