Giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie

Ingredients

– 1 package of Oreo cookies (crushed)
– ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 tablespoon coconut oil
– Peanut butter cups (for garnish)

Equipment Needed

– 9-inch pie pan
– Mixing bowls
– Hand mixer or stand mixer
– Rubber spatula
– Measuring cups and spoons
– Microwave-safe bowl (for melting chocolate)

Step-by-Step Instructions

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Next, take those crispy Oreo cookies and crush them until they resemble fine crumbs. I love using a food processor for this, but you can also put them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin—it’s a little therapeutic! Combine the crushed cookies with the melted butter in a large mixing bowl and stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Once that’s done, press it firmly into the bottom and up the sides of your pie pan to form the crust. Bake it for about 10-12 minutes until set, then let it cool completely before moving to the next step. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
