Ingredients
– 1 large graham cracker pie crust
– 16 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
– Mini Reese’s cups for garnish (optional)
Equipment Needed
– Mixing bowls
– Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler
– Whisk or electric mixer
– Rubber spatula
– Measuring cups and spoons
– 9-inch pie dish
Step-by-Step Instructions
To begin, the first thing I do is melt the chocolate chips. You can either use a microwave or a double boiler. I usually opt for the microwave since it’s quicker. Just heat the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted. Once done, pour half of the melted chocolate into the bottom of the graham cracker pie crust and spread it evenly up the sides. Let it set in the refrigerator while you prepare the peanut butter filling. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
