Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients

– 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
– ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
– 2 cups cream cheese, softened
– ¾ cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– ½ cup creamy peanut butter
– ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 tablespoon heavy cream
– ¼ teaspoon salt

Equipment Needed

– A 9×13-inch baking dish
– Mixing bowls
– Electric mixer or whisk
– Rubber spatula
– Parchment paper
– Microwave-safe bowl
– Measuring cups and spoons
– Cooling rack

Step-by-Step Instructions

First things first, preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). While it’s warming up, I like to line my baking dish with parchment paper so that my cheesecake bars are easy to lift out once they’ve cooled. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until they resemble wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared dish to create a solid crust. This crust will hold up beautifully, giving a satisfying crunch with every bite. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
