  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup more whipped topping for topping
  • Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips for garnish (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

To start, I crushed the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. If you have kids around, this is a fun task for them! Just toss the cookies in a zip-top bag and let them go to town with a rolling pin. Once crushed, I mixed the crumbs with melted butter until they resembled damp sand. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
