Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips (mini or regular)
- Optional: additional chocolate chips or cookie crumbles for topping
Equipment Needed
- 9-inch springform pan
- Mixing bowls
- Electric mixer
- Rubber spatula
- Baking sheet (for the cookie dough)
- Cooling rack
Step-by-Step Instructions
First, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the springform pan. I like to line the bottom with parchment paper for easier removal later. Next, press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Use your fingers or the back of a measuring cup to make sure it’s even. Bake this crust for about 10 minutes, just until it’s lightly golden and set. The smell of warm cookie dough wafting through the kitchen is simply divine! (See the next page below to continue steps…)
