Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). I find this is the perfect temperature to get that golden crust on the outside while remaining soft inside. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined. Then, in another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and melted butter until well blended.
