– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
Equipment Needed
– Mixing bowls
– Electric mixer or whisk
– Rubber spatula
– Baking sheet (15×10 inches)
– Parchment paper
– Clean kitchen towel
– Saucepan
– Heatproof bowl (for ganache)
Step-by-Step Instructions
First, preheat my oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, I start whisking the eggs and granulated sugar together until it’s light and frothy, which takes about 3-4 minutes with my electric mixer. Slowly, I add in the vanilla extract. In another bowl, I combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Soon, I fold this dry mixture into the egg mixture until just combined. It’s already smelling delightful!
