No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

– 1 ½ cups of chocolate graham cracker crumbs
– ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
– ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)
– Optional: chopped peanuts for garnish

Equipment Needed

– Mixing bowls
– Electric mixer (or whisk if you’re feeling adventurous!)
– 9-inch pie pan
– Rubber spatula
– Measuring cups and spoons

Step-by-Step Instructions

First, I start by making the crust. In a mixing bowl, I combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. I press this mixture into the bottom and up the sides of my pie pan, creating a nice even layer. A neat trick I’ve learned is using the bottom of a measuring cup to really pack it down. It gives the crust a robust base that’s hard to beat. Once that’s done, I pop the crust in the fridge to set while I make the filling. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
