Creamy Oreo Peanut Butter Cheesecake

Ingredients

– 24 Oreo cookies (plus additional for garnish)
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 16 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup smooth peanut butter
– 3/4 cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– Chocolate syrup (optional, for drizzling)

Equipment Needed

– 9-inch springform pan
– Mixing bowls
– Electric mixer or stand mixer
– Rubber spatula
– Measuring cups and spoons
– Food processor (optional, for crushing Oreos)

Step-by-Step Instructions

To get started, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a food processor, crush the 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Once crushed, combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, creating a flat and compact crust. Bake it in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until set. Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool while you prepare the cheesecake filling. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
