Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, I heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef (or turkey if you prefer). I cook it until it’s browned, which usually takes about 5-7 minutes. As the meat cooks, I love the aroma filling my kitchen. It brings back so many memories of family dinners! Once the meat is browned, I drain the excess fat, if necessary, and toss in the diced onion and bell pepper. I let them cook until the veggies are tender, around 3-4 minutes.
