Mango Pie with Graham Cracker Crust

Ingredients

– 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
– 1 tablespoon lime juice
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 package (about 9 sheets) graham crackers
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1/4 cup sugar
– Pinch of salt

Equipment Needed

– Mixing bowls
– Blender or food processor
– 9-inch pie dish
– Measuring cups and spoons
– Whisk
– Rubber spatula

Step-by-Step Instructions

To start, I preheat my oven to 350°F (175°C). While the oven is warming up, I break the graham crackers into small pieces and add them to my food processor along with the melted butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. I pulse them until the mixture resembles damp sand. Then, I press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of my 9-inch pie dish. Once that’s done, I bake the crust for about 10 minutes, just until it’s lightly golden. The aroma wafting through my kitchen during this step is absolutely heavenly!
